Office 365 Apps for Students

Office 365 Apps is the version of the Microsoft Office Suite that is available at no cost to students who are currently enrolled in one or more credit hours at LSCPA. It is a full version of Office, which includes: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Access, and more.

Each currently enrolled student can install Office 365 Apps on up to 5 devices (home or personally-owned PCs/Macs and mobile devices). Office mobile applications are accessible on iPhone and Android phones and automatically included with all Windows phones. Students must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.

How do I deactivate Office 365 Apps?

If you want to install the software on a new device and you already have it on the maximum allowed limit of 5 devices, you have two options: (1) Allow Microsoft to automatically deactivate the software on your least recently used device, or (2) Choose which installation you want to deactivate. The following instructions will show you how to deactivate Office 365 Apps on your device using your MyLSCPA account:

You will need to manually uninstall the software on your device after deactivation.

What happens after I graduate?

Your access to Office 365 Apps will continue for a short period of time after you graduate. When you are no longer eligible, you will still be able to access and print your files. You will not be able to install new instances of Office 365 Apps and you will not be able to create/save/edit files.

What are the differences between Office 365 Apps and Office 365 University?

Office 365 University costs approximately $80 and includes 60 minutes per month of Skype premium, which is not included with Office 365 Apps. Office 365 Apps are free for all currently enrolled LSCPA students and includes additional organizational applications technologies for organizational uses which are not available in Office 365 University.
