Step 1: Go to the Password Reset Portal

1. Open your web browser.

2. Navigate to the Lamar State College Port Arthur Password Reset Portal: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/passwordreset#!/

Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

1. On the password reset page, enter your LSCPA email address in the designated field.
   - Students: Tnumber@my.lamarpa.edu
   - Employees: username@lamarpa.edu

2. Enter the character challenge and Click on Next.

Step 3: Verify Your Identity

You will need to verify your identity using the method you registered during the registration process. Follow the prompts to verify your identity.
 ( If you have not registered  for Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), register first )

In this example, a phone number was registered in the first step, so user must verify their identity using this phone number.

Step 4: Create a New Password

1. Once your identity is verified, you will be prompted to create a new password.

  • Your password must meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum of 8 characters.
  • Include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
  • Avoid using your name or email address.

2. Re-enter your new password for confirmation.

3. Click Next.

Step 5: Confirmation

You will see a confirmation message stating that your password has been successfully reset. Use your new password to log in to LSCPA’s online services.
