Look up your myGator username without contacting the Help Desk. Username Lookup
What you will need
- Your R-number
- Your date of birth
- Access to the personal email address on file with LSCO - it must match exactly
Steps
Step 1 - Fill out the form
Enter your R-number, date of birth, and personal email address, then click Username Lookup. The system validates your information against LSCO records.

Step 2 - Check your email
If your information is validated, a confirmation page appears and your username will be sent to your personal email address on file.

Step 3 - Check your personal email
Open the email from LSCO. Your username will be listed in the message. Use it to log in to your myGator account.
Common Issues
Date of birth is incorrect
Enter your date of birth exactly as it appears in Banner.
Email address does not match
The email entered does not match what is on file.
R-number does not exist
Verify your R-number is entered correctly with the R prefix. Example: R12345678. If the issue continues, contact the Help Desk.
Email not received
Check your spam or junk folder. If the email is not there after a few minutes, contact the Help Desk.
When to Contact the Help Desk
- You cannot complete the lookup after multiple attempts
- Your personal email in Banner is outdated
- You receive repeated validation errors
- You never receive the username email
