Body
LSCPA Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a Microsoft-delivered service that lets enrolled users reset their own password. You MUST enroll with SSPR before you try to use it to reset your password.
- Your information is protected.
- Authentication phone numbers and authentication email addresses are not visible in the directory, nor are they saved in Banner. The only people who can see the alternative authentication phone and email address are you and LSCPA Information Technology Services system administrators. Only YOU can see the answers to your security questions.
- You cannot change your office phone.
- Changes to office phone numbers must be submitted to HR.
- You may need to reconfirm your information.
- After a period of time, and to ensure you still have the appropriate methods registered, LSCPA may require you to confirm your authentication methods.
If you need assistance, contact the Help Desk for assistance by E-mail HelpDesk@lamarpa.edu or by phone (409) 984-6150 during normal business hours.

- Open a web browser and go to the SSPR Registration Page.
- If prompted, enter your MyLamarPA username (your LSCPA email address) and password.
- You can configure up to three additional pieces of information on your account:
- Alternative Authentication Phone (call or text): For students, a mobile (preferred) or home phone number. For faculty and staff, a mobile number (preferred) or number other than your office phone.
- Alternative Authentication Email: An email other than your LSCPA email address.
- Security Questions: If you select this option, you will need to set up 5 questions and answers.
- You cannot configure office phone. That must be configured by LSCPA Information Technology Services.
- See instructions below for setting up each option and completing enrollment.
You will receive a phone call, text, or email message while doing setup to verify that method of communication is working. You will need access to the email or phone during this process.
